RULES
RULES FOR ALL PLAYERS
1.
Players must obey our rules at all time.
2.
The use of martyrdom is banned from our server.
3.
No excessive team killing.
4.
No stat padding.
5.
No bunny hopping.
6.
No spawn camping.
7.
No use of aim bot’s or other scripts, applications or hardware which allows you to cheat.
8.
No swearing is allowed on our server or forums (The odd slip of the tongue is excusable).
9.
Abuse of other players will not be tolerated this does not include friendly banter but do not cross that line.
10.
Any player who finds them self in a glitch on the map must leave the game immediately and then re-join.
11.
Although we welcome players from all over the world talk on our forums and servers must be in English.
12.
No dogs or artillery is allowed within the first 15 seconds of a round.
13.
No grenades for the first 15 seconds of a round.
14.
Pistols are not allowed to be used as your primary weapon or to snipe over long distances, pistols should be used in the spirit of which they were intended.

Breaking of all of the above with the exception of rule 7 will be punishable in the first instance by a verbal/written warning. If this warning is not adhered to you will face being kicked from the server, any player still found to be in breach of these rules will be permanently banned.  Those found in breach of rule 7 will be Immediately banned from the server with no warning. Please do not argue with a moderators decision, our
moderators follow strict guidance and once a decision has been made it can not be over turned without following the appeal process.

RULES FOR MEMBERS OF |BIG|
15.
Rules 1 - 14 above also apply to all members of |BIG|
16.
As a member of |BIG| you represent this clan while on other servers so we expect all members to obey the rules of the server you are on.
17.
Any member who is absent from both the froums, servers and teamspeak for a period of 3 months or over and has not informed the clan of their absence must re-apply for membership upon their return.

Breaking of any of these rules for members of |BIG| will in the first instance be punishable by a verbal/written warning. If any member of |BIG| then continues to abuse these rules they will be immediately kicked from the server with the possibility of further punishment depending on the severity of the incident.  Further punishments will be made on a case by case basis by the |BIG|Committee Group and could include any of the following:

Removal from the clan.
§
Temporary ban from the server/forums.
§
Temporary removal of forum rights.
§
In the case of members with special rights i.e. Moderators, removal of those rights.

Please do not argue with a moderators decision, our moderators follow strict guidance and once a decision has been made it can not be over turned without following the appeal process.

COMPLAINTS & APPEALS
If any guest or member feels they have been unfairly treated by any decision made by a moderator, appeals can be made by contacting a member of the |BIG|Committee Group.  Complaints against our members can be made in a similar way. Please note the |BIG|Committee Group will aim to respond within 48 hours and can be contacted via our forums or by the contact us page found at the bottom.

CONDITIONS OF JOINING |BIG|
1.
In order to become a member of |BIG| players must be 16 or over (exceptions will be made for players under 16 who are accepted into our mentor programme - see details below).
2.
Regular monthly subs are payable by all members over the age of 16.
3.
Members of |BIG| while welcome from all over the world must be able to speak English.
4.
Membership of |BIG| is by invitation only however we welcome all interest in joining our clan.
5.
Players must be active on our server, teamspeak and forums.

MENTOR PROGRAMME
Although players must be over the age of 16 to become a member of |BIG| we are willing to make exceptions to this rule under our mentoring programme. While we do not want to exclude anyone from joining our clan purely based on age, we feel it is important junior members balance their time responsibly between |BIG| and
more important priorities like school and home work. Under the programme mentors will be responsible for ensuring junior members adhere to our rules while ensuring a healthy balance between school and gaming, we like to think of our mentors as offering a big brother/sister role.  Admission to the mentor programme is
dependent on the same criteria as for adult members with the additional following criteria also being met.

1.
You must be under the age of 16.
2.
A current adult member of |BIG| must be willing to be your mentor.

PROCEDURES FOR MODERATORS
1.
Any player or member found in breach of any of the above rules must be dealt with as per the punishments above.
2.
Any player or member found in breach of any of our rules must be reported in the appropriate section on the forums. This report must contain the players name (where possible guild and IP address also), rule broken, punishment issued, time and date of offence, a brief description of the incident and any other relevant Information.
3.
If after punishing a player/member that person starts giving abuse or questioning your decision as a moderator they should be reminded you are unable to reverse any action taken, your decision is final and if they wish to appeal against your decision they must follow the complaints and appeals process by contacting a member of the Committee Group.

USE OF R-CON
R-con is to be used by moderators in a sensible manner, as such the following rules must be followed.

1.
Players must not be kicked/banned simply because you do not like them.
2.
Maps must not be skipped simply because you do not like them.
3.
Game types must not be changed simply because you do not like them.
4.
Maps may not be restarted simply because you choose to.
5.
Rules 2 - 4 may be broken if the clear majority of players on the server at that time agree.

Failure to abide by these rules could result in the following punishments

Temporary removal of your moderator rights.
§
Permanent removal of your moderator rights.
§
Temporary ban from the server.
§
Permanent removal from the clan.
